cool find, need ideas.

I was lurking areound my local salvage yard and low and behold I found a 1971 429 with dove-c heads and a dove-a block. It was a core and needs a good cleaning.

I know the block will have to be bored, but exactly how good are these blocks vs the d1 block. I am thinking I might just turn around and sell it since everyone likes it. I am putting the dove-c heads on my '73 460 for a compression increase.

That is what I was thinking, who makes a good 4-bolt setup for it?

That block ain't no good - send it to me for "proper disposal", and to show you what a good guy I am - I'll even pay the shipping!! There's several good four bolt conversions out there, I used a Milodon kit on the last D0VE-A I built, no regrets.
