the WAY too many gauge holes.
remove the 1970's paint!

Boat is in primer, color going down tonight, paint job should be finished by the weekend...

Damn Adam I just left from over there and the boat was sitting on the trailer looking like 1970 all over again. Man you don't waste no time brother!! Great start your off too, what's the color going to be??

I had in mind to just re-clear the old paint job, but the Az sun really did a number on the paint, so bad I have to re-paint it.. This paint job will only be for this boating season, after this season I'll tear the boat all the way down and do a ground up re-store like I did on the Hallett.

SO for this season I'm just going to toss down a Pearl white base, with some burnt tangerine candy orange as the stripes.. Pretty easy..
Next season will be the big paint job,,,,,, What a Face

Keep in mind this boat was set up for a Chevy... With the chevy out, and the Ford going in thre are a few things that need to be fab'd up first before I can put any engine in... I need to make up motor mounts (like you seen me do on the Hallett). The drive line needs to be altered, etc... so there will be no engine going in this weekend...

but that does not mean you cant stop by. Bring Duke,,,, let him and my girl play!

Ok.. I attached a few pic's of "K" boats, you will see a few different styles of side hull numbers...
But the Cherokee Maiden style is what I want, in Gold leaf with black shadow. B lack shadow like the K-69 boat.
also accross the back of my boat the name of the boat, also in Gold leaf with black shadow.
plus my AZ #'s.....

check out the pics let me know what we can do, I have your number I will call when you need me to.
