Yes i agree, should not of been that high. If was a transgo kit with modulator connected pressure should be around 130-150 and with low vacuum under load may go 180-200 max.

That 220 seems awful high on the line pressure. It is very easy to reduce that pressure by shortening the spring on the main regulator a little, or simply using a different spring.

Man, that sucks. What did it run?

Sounds like its time to get Mr. Merkl to build you up a trans.

I have my spare trans for sale, it's a Broader Performance fully rollerized/manual VB 1000 HP wide ratio C6. It is being freshened right now, but when it's done it's got to find a new home,

Let me know if you could use it.....

i would take your tranny in a heartbeat but the shipping would probaby be twice as much as you want for it... i really appreciate the offer....im going to give the tranny guy a chance he is respected with car guys here . i work at the local track here and im sure he doesnt want the back lash of people asking why he didnt fix my tranny......it was cool had 25 guys pushing the car on the trailer....didnt have to winch it on good bunch of guys.....

If it is cracked around the snap ring groove?? Look to lowering line pressure while it is apart.

Yeah, C6's have a tendency to crack the forward clutch drum right on the back edge happened to me twice. Getting a 4140 steel one from TCS products, that should fix it! Bit pricey BUT!! Especially getting sent down under!! Shocked
