Guy's I have a stock bell with the block plate. I'll most likely never use this so I figured I'd sell it.

C4 bell for the Big block Empty I want the bellhousing if it is for my application

Post  electhelland May 1st 2012, 11:54 pm

I am looking to put a 460 in a Fox body Mustang GT. I have a good C4 transmission laying around in my garage. If this bellhousing would allow me to bolt the c4 up to the 460, I will pay you what you want for the bellhousing. Text me at 815-671-9967. Jason

You need a pan fill C-4 that the bellhousing bolts do not bolt to the front pump.

Later Mark

Cool sounds like you have him set up if the tranny he has won't work and he wants to pay shipping.I got lucky years ago bought a 78 LTDII with a 351M and a pan fill C-4.I've used that bellhousing with the 460 i put in the LTDII.I then used it in the 88 T-Bird i had with BBF and now in the 89 Mustang i have with a 466 BBF.

Later Mark.

C4 bell for the Big block Empty C4 Bell

Post  mpinder18 May 11th 2012, 12:08 am

I have a 502 in a 83 hatch mocked up with a c6 now. My 89 hatchback roller(hint trying to sell) has a 347 with a c4 in it that has been rebuilt, what would I have to do to make the c4 withstand the 502 even with this bell housing?

First off I think the trans you need is the 1971 and newer the the bell removes from the case and not the front pump. Next I'm not a trans guy so my recommendations would be Broader performance for part or even a full trans.
