manufacuring in the good ole USA

Well, another big factory here in Iowa bit the dust. Cedar Rapids Inc are closing the doors soon. They are in the same industry the the company i`m laidoff from is in. Rock crusher& pavers. This really sucks, because there aint chit for jobs here at all.

I'd heard there were going to be layoffs, I didn't realize they were closing. Sad to hear.

There leaving 40 jobs in sales and service. The rest will go to other Terex plants to the east. They didnt have many left, around 150.

I`m sure the Cedar Rapids name will still be around,......it will just say Made in China.
