That's just one guy's opinion...which is okay by me even if I do not agree.

I.M.O. here are a few of the reasons that I have discovered, on this and other sites, that proves the U.S.A. is the best.

1] Big cowl hoods.
2] 10.5 & 8.5" tires.
3] Injected methanol.
4] Zero decked blocks
5] Stock suspensions.
6] Green oil.
7] Q16
8] TA-31
9] 7.3
10] Lots of other cool stuff.

Oh...did I forget to mention....more people wanting to get in than out.

Those aren't all facts. Makes for good TV, but much of it speaks to the point that America has some rebuilding to do starting with the way we view ourselves and what we aspire to. We've become a spoiled, lazy, self entitled, self righteous, brats that have been taught since birth that we shouldn't be ashamed of anything we do. Where everyone gets to participate, and we hang up our sixth place medals. We've forgotten that in life with everything else there's winners, and there's losers, that a handout will never replace a hand up. Very few seem to have any real pride, and everything's become disposable including our morals, and ethics. Rant over.

I agree with a lot of what was said in this video clip but he did get a few things wrong:
The United States spends more on Defense than the next 18 countries (including China and Russia) and the United States of America IS the greatest country on Earth. There are LOTS of problems in America and around the world but one thing has told me time and again that America is the hope of the world.

I have traveled to most of our Embassies and Consulates around the world and the one thing I see no matter what country I visit is LONG LINES. People stand in long lines all day long in the heat, cold, rain, whatever; just to get a chance to come to America! One million people a year move to America. They do it because they want a better life for themselves and their families, they come here because they know that America is the place where anyone has a "chance" to do anything you want, to achieve any goal if you are willing to work hard enough for it. I think that is still true.

Now lets get back to talking about racing.

Well put Bruce, and I agree 100%. I haven't been to as many different countries as Bruce, probably about 30 during my run with the Navy. But even with the problems we have, we do have it made. Some of the places I've been, I would call the "Arm Pit of the World"!
