water pump belt adjustment

Im wanting to run a mechanical water pump and belt.
What would i have to use to adjust the belt tight? What bracket? Plus the engine is on a motor plate.

Why not run the belt from the crank to water pump to alternator with the alternator having adjustment. Being that your using a plate you may need to make spacers for alignment.

you could find a a/c belt tengener off a mid to late 70s model ford truck if you are using a v-belt and make a bracket to hold it and still have it adjustable souldnt be hard to find st s local junk yard
