Electric water pump leaking Waterpump1

Its leaking from the back, while the engine is running, then continues to leak for a couple minutes after the motor is shut off. Its leaking from an threaded hole in the back. Rebuildable? Just buy an new one? Anyone have one rebuilt?

Hell, don't buy a new one. Mezziere is right there in CA, and they always been very helpful to me. Box it up and ship it to them for repair. They make top quality products.

Well I lucked out. Took the water pump off and it was clear that it was actually leaking from the pipe fitting for the lower radiator hose. Took off the fitting, cleaned it up, put some teflon tape on it and put it in tighter this time. It was barely hand tight when I took it off---I know I didn't put it in that way--must have loosened up over time.
