Cool home-made tool/jig

Since I'm going to be picking up my 598 short block from Jet-Boat Bob before too long (hopefully), I got to thinking about the heads and I've decided to do some very minor clean-up (porting) work to my A-460 cylinder heads first.

I knew i needed some sort of stand(s) to support them, but I wasn't crazy about the ones that the aftermarket had to offer.

So,......
I decided to build this from some scrap material I had laying around.

The head is able to rotate a full 360 degrees and the tool is adjustable to fit many other brands as well.

It also comes apart for easy storage after you're done.

I like homemade stuff....
