West Coast Scene

You guys would crap your pants to see the cool racing stuff I saw today in California.
I visited a buddy that restores old funny cars and builds race cars and hot rods. His shop is in Lake Elsinore CA and called Nitro Garage.
I will post lots of stuff..,but we went to 2 private drag racing museums and even shook down his new Rat Rod.
Here is a video of the ride...

From vintage '40s/'50's hot rodding still going strong all the way to the latest and greatest in design and fabrication at all levels. Had you made a drag race you'd have seen all kinds of inspiring and creative race car/power train fabrication.Oh yeah, and you should take in a Pomona swap meet sometime--at 4 a.m. Saturday morning it's still pitch black and there are already 1000's of flashlights flickering around you from the early birds scooping up the endless parts deals. And man are there cool parts deals out there, tool deals, etc.
The only downside is fewer race tracks....
