In over my HEad Empty In over my HEad

I put the cart befor the horse and now I'm looking at never finishing.
I bought a new set of P-51 Heads a Set of New 6.8 Eagle rods with the upgraded bolts, New Trickflow (mufia) intake. I have a never touched DOVE block. Now I'm out of funds to move forward as it appears i'm looking at around another $2,2200.0 for pistons and crank. So here is my question can I install my P-51 heads on a .30 over 460 with proper pistons and make power around 500 to get me by or wait and save my money.

The old 460 FRPP crate motor with a single plane manifold and SCJ heads with a hydraulic lifter camshaft made well over 550 horsepower so, as Rick said ... easily.

Nope, you should just sell me that Mafia intake at a steeply discounted price, and beings as I'm such a nice guy, I'd take it just to help ya out. Laughing

Seriously though, I made over 500 with a .030 over 460, stock stroke and flat tappet cam with d3 heads and a performer rpm air gap, so you should be good.

Yes Probe FT pistons that have an extra intak relief cut in them, the heads where milled to the max and the chambers are 62cc so its about 12.5:1
