Finally

We got some rain. It has been a dust bowl here for the last 18+ months. We finally got a measurable rain. It has been dryer here than it was during the dust bowl years, ponds dried up, crops struggling, and wind blowing like a banshee(just for reference, it was blowing over 30mph+ with gusts to 45 yesterday, and it has been over 20mph for most of the spring). We got over an inch of rain finally. Hope this broke the seal, and we will get a few more.

Did the twisters hurt anyone?

You must not get the same storm tracks this time of year as you do in the winter? Man, we got 3" + here in the last week... I know we need the moisture too, a little at a time would be much better in the long run...

Gonna go racing tomorrow, so it's all good now.
Hell of a good birthday present that rain. Had a buddy comment that it was a million dollar rain. I told him that it was worth way more than that.
