If you have a Powerglide, & the measurement from the end of the tail housing to the center of the pinion yolk is 42" this drive shaft will work perfectly.
(its the "E" measurement that is the one your looking for.)

don't really matter what trans you are using the shaft is ready for any input yolk, if your "E" measurement is 42" your C to C should be 39"
all depends on how far the trans yolk goes into the tail of the trans.

Got my motor and trans installed yesterday and mesured it up with a C-6 and a 9" it mesures 47" from center of cup to cup with the yoke pulled out about 1" or so, I really wanted the shaft its a really nice piece
