driveshaft Empty driveshaft

I have a 67 Ford LWB pickup, with a 588 ci. with all the goodies. The truck weighs 3860, without driver. It has a c-6 with brake. What is the strongest driveshaft available?

Go to your local truck shop or driveshaft shop and get one built. Being that long with that power I would most likely do a 3.5" cm deal.

x2 on going to a truck shop.

When I was pulling I had my shafts built by Rowe Truck in Lafayette. I never broke his shafts. Broke other drivetrain parts, but never a shaft.

I've use a number of Strange Driveshafts over the years, they have always worked well.

Make sure they balance the drive shaft, with it being that long.................
