fairmont wheel fittment?

wanting to put a 15x10 on the rear.with a 27 tall tire, what back spacing are you guys running. running a luved on 8.8. I don't mind rolling the finder lip or massaging the wheel well.just don't want to go crazy.ive got a lead on some billet specialties with 7.5 bs... thanks homies

6." back spacing is what I have on my 87 coupe with 275/60/ drag radial rolled lip.

Fitting that wide of a wheel will be all dependent on your rear ride height. The Fairmonts don't have the "full round" wheel openings that a Mustang do. Many people can fit a 9 or 10" wheel on a Mustang with no problem. Might be tough to do on a Fairmont. I couldn't fit anything past a 8" on my old Futura without minitubbing it. She sat real low in the rear also...

I had 15 x 10 rear wheels with 6.5" b.s.on my '79 Fairmont. With 28 x 12.50 MT ET Streets and it was a tight fit.

A 9 inch wheel with 6.0 bs works better tho. (or 8 inch with 5.5 BS)
