e.t guess for friends car

Just about to finish up buddys car.its a 1991 fox body..472 13-1 compression..herbert roller think 710 lift..out of box alum scj heads..super vic intake with 1050 carb..4000 converter c6 tranny with 3.73 gears..im thinking low 10s

Ill get few pic tomorrow ..very decent build and car..he had a stock 460 in it with 2.73 gears..

could be in the 9,s if tuned right!

What tire size, slick or drag radial, suspension and shocks , and weight of car ?

Hard to make any type of guess without knowing the weight. If its light even 9.60's -9.70's are no problem, my 84 ran a best of 9.96 and 6.35 in the 1/8 with a 472'' flat tops ,stock scj heads ,solid flat cam 260-268@.050  637-648 lift , unported 4150 victor, and a ported AED 950,  3:90's and a 28x10 slick slipping,flairing c6  and a used converter footbraking at 2500, but its 2650lbs with driver.

If it's 3000 lb and making what it should make 9.75 1/4 mile and 6.25 1/8th mile.

My old 514 with home ported D2ve heads......... not D2oe's 13:1 compression, ran mid 6.20's 3200 lb 4.10 gear 28x10 slicks Glide 1.76.
265-272 @.050 .730 lift on a 108

Don't take much to run low 6's with these engines, gotta love um ! ! ! ! ! ! !
