Yesterday Mikey and I went to the track and surprisingly the track was pretty good, best we have seen so far. When we arrived the temp was in the low 90's, as the sun started going down it dropped to the upper 70's, and at the start, track temp was in the mid 120's. But overall one of the best days we've ever had at our local track. I'll let Mikey fill in the details.

Thanks Doug !!

We went back to the track, because the guys running it told me they got the track working..
I finally agreed, not sure what would happen..

One word..... Power Management !!!
Against my better judgement , we started by pulling timing out at the launch and shifting it early.
We made a total of 6 passes, ranging from an on and off it 5.15 to a clean 4.61
Best pass of the night was a 1.032, 4.612 @ 153.25

Using Uncle Charlie's favorite online performance calculator...
A 153 mph 1/8 mile pass is approx. a 4.45 e.t. on motor alone ( Thanks again Phillip !!!!)
So, while the track couldn't support a "perfect" run, It's ALOT better then it was...

Looks like you guys had a fun day. That Kentucky horsepower is hard to get down these old Georgia tracks!
Sounded good.
I may need to come over and check that track out.
