I honestly don't know a lot of the specific details on the engine. My Grandpa built it. I've been a lot more involved in the engine lately but cant brake down all the numbers for you.
It's a real 427 F.E. side oiler with cross bolt mains. Has a 428 crank, h beam rods with domed JE pistons. The cam has around .740 lift. The heads are original Tunnel Port heads and intake that are port matched. I'm not sure on compression ratio but last time we checked compression they were 235psi. We are running a Ron's Fuel Injection flying toilet with methanol. I will say this thing has a sound all it's own. The car weighs around 3400 and we run 10.40's at Great Bend, KS but have been in the 20's in good air. We ran at Mo-Kan over Labor Day and broke a lifter which also got the cam so that's why it's tore down in the picture.

I miss my ole 66 427 Fairlane I had back in mid 70's. Mine was a Low riser and it only ran 11.20's. I Like your car.
