429 Thunderjet piston

I'm looking for 1 429 thunderjet piston. It is standard bore 4.360 with  1.89 compression height.  

Where do you live?

Destin Florida. I have no problem paying shipping. I am having trouble finding this part.

Try contacting Paul Kane on this forum, he has lots of 429 inventory at High Flow Dynamics.

I BELIEVE I HAVE SEVERAL SETS OF USED ONES......INTERESTED? OR ARE YOU LOOKING FOR NEW?

I'm very interested in a used piston if it is the original for a 429 thunderjet with the double relief at the top like in my picture.
Would you sell one piston or do I need to buy the set?
Can you post a couple of pictures of the top and side of the piston?

Whaddya need a piston for? A little bubble gum and some bailing wire and that baby can go right back in again.

I'm all out of bubble gum! 
It's either replace one with a matching piston. Or tear the whole thing down and rebuild it.

I have a complete stock 429 Thunderjet rotating assembly (out of a Dove-A block). Everythings in good shape, double relief '1.89' pistons on
DO0E-A rods. I'll never use them but didn't want to scrap them either. I don't really want to get rid of just one. I hesitated because I thought someime on the forum might have just one. If you could use 8 rods and pistons I'll give them to you if you pay the shipping. I'm going to scrap the crank anyway.

I got some 1969 model standard bore I was getting ready to trash 2 of them was bad as water set in the cylinder and messed 2 of them up knocking them out they are still on the rods. Send me your shipping address I send you the 6 good ones for shipping price I throw the bad 2 in also if you want them.

Why don't you take 69F100 up on his offer. The shipping would be less and I might find someone that needs a whole set  

Now that's a good idea. I would hate to break up a set for just one!

Just saw this now.. I  have an extra 7 stock 429 pistons I picked up somewhere along the line that I wouldn't have a problem splitting up.  I will dig them up over the weekend to give you another option if needed

That one's pretty beatup. Break out the JB Weld.

I appreciate all of the support. It's pretty awesome to go from not being able to find a piston, to having access to more of them than I could ever use!

And thanks to 429-460.com for making it possible to find a part that was almost impossible to find.
I wouldn't have the part i need without y'all.

It sure is nice to see one of those with an engine WITHOUT the siamese exhaust pipes .

No problem glad I could help you out If for some reason your engine don't work out for you right I got a 460 that makes over 500hp that would look nice and sound good in that 23 also for $1500  

So we got the pistons installed and everything back together and it runs GREAT!
Got it done just in time for a local car show that was today and won first place for the "Under Construction" Category!  I won the plaque leaning on the front tire.
