prayers for my family

my dad is not going to be in this world much longer. Found out last week from a ct scan. He is only excepted to to live 2 weeks to 2 months due to cancer has raged all the way through his body. This is the hard thing i have ever had to due. He is my best friend. So, please just give us a little extra prayers. For after all only the good LORD really knows.

X2 Sorry to hear it! My wife is a cancer nurse, deals with it daily. It's a horrible thing.

Brother, I have been where you are now...... It will get harder before it gets easier, but your friends will stand by you and help you through this rough time.

The best you can do is to be strong for your Pops, both now AND later.

You and your Pops have our thoughts and prayers.

I just lost my grandpa Who raised me the first parts of Oct. It's very hard. Spend all the time you can with your dad. Take it in and enjoy whats left. Your in our prayers.

Like Cheatham said, spend all the time you can with him. Cancer is a tough deal, our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

I'm not sure if its better to know its coming and have to think about it or not to know and just have it done. I guess if you know you can prepare and settle stuff. No easy way.

Man im sendin one up, weve been in this boat for 6 months with my grandpa, and with a little prayer, he has hung with us, even though the docs said hed be gone 4 months ago

I'm glad to hear you guys are tight. That's how it should be but often isn't.

I went through the same thing a little over 2 years ago with my Dad. He was my best friend too. I don't think you ever get over it, but it's life! The cruel part of it. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Just cherish every moment with him and be glad you guys are the best of friends. Some people aren't as fortunate as us ,to have a Dad and Best Friend all in one!! Good luck to you, Dan

I do; so thats what I'll be praying for in your dads and the familys situation.

I lost my Pop to lungcancer also.He truly was my best friend.I'm glad to know he is your best friend.That is something you will cherish the rest of your life.God bless your family,And know that your BBF family is thnking of you and your family.
