Re: 2k14 BBF race
We hope to be there this year. How was the track when you were there last year. We ran there a couple of times last year. Starting line wasn't bad but, down track was adventuresome, to say the least. Did they do anything different for track prep for the show?

I like it! I bet that 94"wheelbase could get interesting on the far end.lol83-88T-Bird Guy wrote:56Tbird wrote:Looks like a short bed ranger Alan. Pretty cool!!
Yeah Dan, I like to think of it as a stubby Ranger.
Weighs 2480 lbs. without driver with a 94" wheelbase..
Hoping to enter a lot more bracket races now.
I have since retired the Gray Bird from bracket racing. Just a street cruiser now.

I've had two sets of coated headders and countless sets I've tried cheap coatings on. I think coating is worth the money with out a doubt. I used nitro plate on one set and one by jet coat. Both sets in almost chrome. Ran one set for six yrs and this set for only one. I have have no complaints with either set. Stainless are cool to but around here the cost of stainless is prohibitive. You can add about a third again of the cost of reg headders with coating.

If Jack is going I will go as well. Maybe Mike (BigblockFox468) will go? We need more Michigan guys to go.JACKAZZFLATZ wrote:One from Michigan'll be on the list........wonder if the snow'll be gone by then ???
And thankx George...last year was a great time!
However, i've gotta find a better way to get there, that real narrow 2-laner with the curves wasn't much fun.

Re: 2k14 BBF race
ok guys the way its gonna be is almost like last year. Friday will be a TNT day from 9 to 3. then they will have there program and we will have one round of qualifying for the 5.30 index race. sat there will be one round of time trials then race the super pro and pro race. during that race there will be a second qualifying shot for 5.30 race. after the super pro and pro race we will have the 5.30 index race. when that is done there will be a small race if anyone wants to do it at the same time the king of mountain race will be ran.

Man i'm out of touch !! I just now saw this. I'm out of shine Seems as someones asked my source to stop making it or he would go to the federal pen. He has prior issues for the same thing back in the late 50,s. so he shut down tighter than a drum. Sad when a man can't make a honest living. lol61coon wrote:dr's wife racing wrote:I've had two sets of coated headders and countless sets I've tried cheap coatings on.
