How much hp are these for?

2 of these will feed an 1800hp mountain motor. EFI is different than a carb. One can go much larger on the flow capacity. Anyone running 2 dominators can use these for an EFI setup.

Would one of these be good for like 1000-1200?

It should work no problem. It's really about the engine displacement and rpm. What size engine? You can go to Wallace racing and use the cfm calculator to see the required flow.

That is a good price. I have a 4500 victor manifold and the 4150 Holley throttle body and looked at one of these as an option. I look at them and for the life of me can not figure out why they cost so much though (not your price but retail price).

They are really nice; I looked at several other companies when I was buying them, and to me, the Holley was the nicest one and it includes the TPS as well as the air valve.
