Rocker Arm Options- Suggestions
On a D0VE rebuild, my buddy just wants to use a flat tappet Hydrolic cam (mild performance), already had the heads completed (did not update to screw in studs) and was curious if there were any rocker arm options he could use rather than going back to the stock fulcrum rockers.
Does anyone know of options?
I am not aware of any so thought I would ask the experts.
Thanks

If there a pedestal mount I think Harland /Sharp makes a rocker that will fit,or I think Comp makes a stamped rocker for that application

Something is amiss in the info here. The DOVE heads and prior have screw in studs. If they are in fact the D3VE instead and use the sled fulcrum, I'd just stick with them as they are sufficient for the application and won't warrant the price to upgrade.

I did write that incorrectly.
The heads do have screw in studs but they are for fulcrum rockers not adjustable..my bad.
I probably should have stated they were of the Thunderjet type vs. CJ.
He is sending me the cam/lifter/spring info electronically along with the rest of the engine component specs but sounds like it will be around a 350 to 400 hp set up.
Thanks

Call Shawn @BF Evans Ford and order a set of ARP studs and a set of roller rockers. Problem solved.

Lets don't be forgettin the pushrod guide plates. And, if it's in the budget...step up to 3/8 pushrods.

X2 on the pushrods. My stock ones bent with a mildish single spring. Stepped up to 3/8 Cro-mo.
