Ok to put car on ground without center section? Empty Ok to put car on ground without center section?

Ok, so I won't have my rearend parts for another week, and i need to put car down on the floor to tack on wheelie bar brackets.
What I do have is axles and a spool tho. So could i bolt axles in and jus lay spool in place to hold axle ends.
