old nasty lubriplate...!!!!

any advice to remove old nasty crusty lubriplate from crank bearings block without hurting anything? so far nothing will cut it that ive tried. solvent,brake clean...

I can scrape it off with my finger nails. but damn... that crap is everywhere. might use some dynamite..
