Yea the price knocked me out of the chair too but, it is a cool intake. You should look at some of the guys other stuff, pretty interesting also.

It is a "fabricated " manifold made out of a Boss 302 intake grafted to the Boss base.

That intake was designed in Dec '68 when Ford was considering using the 429 wedge in Nascar . This was the small port version for the 366 ci engine and the large port was for the 429 ci engine. Also designed around that time was the aluminum wedge head. All were dropped when the move was made to run the Boss 429 as it made bigger power . The Blue thunder is made of of the original paterns and is less expensive. Holman Moody put their name on them as well and used them on marine engines they sold. It is a good running manifold.

Wish the guy
would answer his pm's. He has been trying to sell that SK intake on and off for a while I think as I have seen it before and linked it myself here. The only reason I would pay more for it is then a BT is the SK part number and the Buddy Bar on it, but would not mind having it over a BT because of the rarity.

This pretty cool also... I'd rather have it then the intake.

I got one in my bed room like it... All complete factory set up with new carbs that I only payed $ 750.00 for.

Rub it in buddy, LoL. I saw the other part too in his listings is why I mentioned to check out his other stuff, it is pretty cool also but, I don't need that on the truck for sure. I would probably chance running the SK intake though, but it should probably be on the mantle for show and tell.

Whats the rpm range on the sk intake?

The small port version is good to 7,500 the big port ( different SK #) was good for 8+ but was bad in the midrange compared to the small port.

I have one that was on my car but the number was ground off.il have to measure the openings

How much do you want for it if it is for sale? I am kind of holding out for the CJ flange but the Ebay deal looks like it's a standard port also.

going on ported Doves or PI heads on engine #2. I think it might work with the PI's but, for the rairity of it I could never bring myself to open the ports up and would likely have to go with the Dove heads if I scored that intake. My D2's are not fully opened up either and it would likely seal on them also, if I stuck it on the current 429. Hope you can get his number soon as I need to get on with it, or explore other options or stick with what I already have.

PS: I almost pulled the trigger on the DSC BTCJ but, luckly he did not answer the phone for my wallet.
