Ford event at Bristol

I just seen that Bristol will be holding a blue oval event next year, looks like a 3 day deal April 30-may 2. Good to see tracks adding Ford races to their schedules. By the way, I spent some time with Larry Morgan, the new Mustang will be at PRI next week for those that are going to the show.

Is this a ford weekend, or nmra, I hope a fun ford deal.

Looks like it is their own deal, Fun Ford is done.

good news i love thunder valley,we run fun ford at bristol,it is one of the best tracks i ever raced on.this news made my year,i look forward next year to it.

Thanks for the heads up Gary. Since the NMRA is trying to run off more racers I'll have to look into this event and add it to my schedule for next year.


As always, several special events will provide fans the opportunity to visit Thunder Valley to cheer for their favorite manufacturers. The inaugural Blue Oval Bash roars in to town April 30- May 2 and promises to be a hit for Ford fanatics.

I like Bristol as far as the track goes, But car always ran AT LEAST 2 tenths slower there than anywhere else. And it's always Hotter than H...
. Bristol is probably going the same route as Norwalk as far as the Ford events go. The ALL Ford deal was always a big deal at Norwalk.
