C6 transmission blanket Empty C6 transmission blanket

I need a good ballistic blanket or shield (I don't know what the better way is these days) Being that I'll be launching in four wheel drive in a 4,000lb truck with 600hp and nitrous. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be hard on drivetrain parts.

Does the blankets gain weight over time? Can you get a blanket with a diaper in it?

My brother was telling me that a C6 would explode like a Turbo 400 if I started my burnout in 1st and shifted to second, is that true?

1st gear you have clutch pack with a sprag backing it up ,2nd gear the clutch pack releases and the band is applied and holds the direct drum and the sprag overruns

I'm sorry,, didn't see that first post before I typed?

My C6 is a full roller, manual with wide ratio gears and trans brake.

That's good! I thought I had asked this a couple of years ago but he was making me doubt myself.

After looking around and reading I don't like the blanket's for my application. I will have to go with the shields.
