Holley float level clear sight plugs

Based on some talk on the FE form on problems with the clear sight plugs I orded some brass ones, when I went to remove mine they were stuck and I had to disassemble the carb to get them out. My carb is not that old. Anyone else had this problem?

Yes mine broke off even with the threds still in the carb Mad

I would just order some QFT float bowls and be done with it...
