Lem got it the first of the year, think the block was dated nov 2015 , id have to double check.
I can get you the no. if you like.
The prob. was with the width of the no. 3 main web/saddle.
Ohio crank, I had it checked out and turned to help get my clearances.
There wasn't any sonic papers I thought they came with em?

Over a decade ago Jetboat Bob called squealing 'blocks f'd up, crank won't go in'. The crank was out of the 1st batch of Scat forgings so I suggested trying a Scat 9000 cast crank that was handy....damn thing went right in.Shocked The cranks were not finished the same.  Sometimes it's the block , sometimes it's the crank, sometimes it's both. The issues back then were at 4 or/and 2 main saddles.

We measured everything to determine it was the block, Ford admitted there was a batch of ill-machined blocks and my serial no. fell in that batch.
When it came back from Ford the crank fit. they didn't line hone it, main journals were the same size as before, which was was under min. spec.to begin with.
Contacted ohio crank and they said that sometimes in the A-460 block there was an interference issue with the counterweights. I didn't have that issue.
I agree , coulda had problems with either part.

You'll will have to request a sonic sheet, they are not shipped with the block.
