Flat head Ford V8 order. It's what the Chevy guys call a 4/7 swap.

Rumor has it, that it is easier on the crank. It is certainly smoother.  I have the swap cam in mine.  Fires the 4 corners first and eliminates the possible misfire of the 7-8

What kind of combo was it cut for?

Looks to me like a really decent piece for an "A" or "C" headed, tunnel ram engine about 521 or bigger.

It was in a 598 C head motor. with a sheetmetal intake. We ran a 1.8 ratio rocker...  made peak power at 7400 rpm     1180Hp
