Ok I am putting in a Summit cam and lifter kit k3500. D3 heads with bolt down pedestal rockers.

I am going to check my push rod length to be sure everything will be right.

Who makes a good push rod length checker? I don't want a high buck one tho. I do not do much engine building so this will be one of those tools that only get used only one time in a blue moon.

You can make your own Tim. Take a tubing cutter and cut a pushrod where ever you want to. I cut mine 2" from the end. Go to the hardware store and buy a threaded stud about 1.5" or 2" that will fit inside the P Rod after you Tap threads in it. I make them all the time.

Just be sure not to roll the engine over with a tough valve spring installed as that homemade adjustable pushrod will most likely bend.
