jw bell on glide foxbody question

are you guys putting engine and trans in together in the as one ? or not
im looking at my space i have to get at the bell housing bolts and just shake my head right now.

other solution make access holes on trans tunnel by firewall .

any advice

90% of the time I do it as a package but I have dropped the trans from the car twice and it wasn't fun...

I cut the top radiator support just past the widest part of the front opening and welded tabs in order to bolt it in place.Now i can pull the grill and take 4 bolts out of the top support and easily slide motor and trans with front and mid plate in and out.It makes it easier for me and faster.

on my car its tight but i can put the trans in after the engine is in.
