Finally made it to the race track

After a long busy summer where everything
Was in the way of racing I cleared my schedule
And told the wife the weekend of October 22 I’ll be at the Ford Race at MIR!

Well it was a awesome weekend.  The weather was perfect.  The car was awesome!

I ran the test and tune Friday evening.

One race on Saturday and one race on Sunday!

In all I made 13 passes.  All between a 9.29 and
A 9.34.  I made it down to 5 cars in Top ET
Today.    Lost the round in a close .005 MOV. Finnish!

All in all
It was a great weekend with my kids
And the car ran great

I only made it to the track twice this summer but once your there you realize just how much you missed it...LOL

Same here but plan on going again in a few weeks for a last hoorah.

its a 521. .030 over 4.30 stroke. 6.8 rods. with a roller .720s lift. with the Ededbrock CJ heads. with a competition valve job. Dominator port matched intake. Pro system Carb.

I have a Glide with a 1.80 gearset and a 4.30 rear gear. Car weighs 3050 with me.
