will an 87-91 ford truck bed fit a 92-97?

Might be able to help a buddy out if these will reasonably interchange.

Greg my buddy has a mid 90 250 and his bed looks just like the bed on my 86 150 tailgate is the only different i have seen on them

That's good news, thanks for the help. I am parting out an 89 F250 and a buddy needs a bed for his 92 F250, looks like christmas will be here early for him this year!

Other than some cosmetic stuff yep it'll bolt right on.

Yep it'll bolt on, just some of the body lines might not match exactly. But it that's not a concern do it up!

Cabs will bolt on to most models also,But the wiring plugin's are different.

2 or 4 wheel drive, if 4wd gas or diesel?

Those two beds are the same. The body lines changed from '86 to '87 still bolt up just different body lines. difference in 87-92 and 93 to 96 was in the front fenders, hood, and grills.

This is true... I put a '9 F250 box on my '86 F150, and really the only difference was the wheel well contour... Instead of being pressed in so to speak, the '87-'97 has a flare... The center body line was nearly identical...
