Does anyone have any information on the Power Products engine internals? I’m sure it’s an offshore casting but does anyone know where they are machined?

Thanks

Justin

You mean offshore forging.

It looks to me like your everyday brown box crankshaft.  Given the retail asking price and the fact that the seller won’t back it up with any warranty whatsoever, it’s probably fully machined and finished in mainland China as most brown box engine parts are.

You could probably just call Competition Products directly and ask them but I don’t think I’m mistaken.

Frankly, it looks to be priced about right for what you’re getting.

Paul

Yes, I meant forging not casting. You confirmed my suspicions on the probable origin of this crank. For the cost difference between this crank and a Lunati or SCAT id definitely pony up the extra $ and one from a reputable supplier.
