460 cap walk

There's been a lot of discussions lately about cap walk. There's a guy in St. Charles Mo. that has a patent on a main cap. I bought a block from him a couple of years ago that has this 4 bolt splayed cap. Seems like it works. Ronnie Besselman at Bessel Motorsports, he's a really good guy, I believe there are some other guys on here that use his stuff, check it out @ strokerkits. com.

Those caps look prety much like everybody else's 4 bolt caps. I can't imagine what he patented, MILODON was making that style cap over 40 years ago.

He machines the block to accept the cap with a tongue and groove style joint. It may look similar but it locks everything together. He also does small block stuff, with the cap installed and no bolts the caps will carry the weight of the block. I can't explain it that well, but it seems to work.
