Personally I think they should have to run a Production factory Block in ProStock, Not some off the wall custom deal.....There is not One single piece of that engine you can buy that isn't custom....except maybe the spark plugs....

Hey I"ll give ya $75.00 for that boat anchor,and drive to get it.Ya can;t beat that anywhere!!!!! I"ll even kick in my old DOVE block.Hell that's worth about $3200.00 to 3300.00 dollars......It's still got the original PROCOMP heads on it.

The way these organizations like Nascar and NHRA/IHRA are anymore they will probabably all be running the same bodies and engines to make everyone competitive. Organized PRO racing has lost alot of respect because of big money by the sanctions. Crying or Very sad

10/4 Randy. If they had to run stuff like our A460 block for the Fords, GM would be cryin' a river because they'd have to still go to the total aftermarket to get anything that could compete. ................... Icon_lol ................... Icon_lol And yes, for the sake of arguement to those that just can't contain themselves, I'm aware that the A460 block is also aftermarket. ................... Icon_razz But I'm sure you get the gist of things. ................... Icon_wink

Yes Doug it is aftermarket but it is still a ford block sold thru Ford and everything that bolts to it is ford....

Notice the bank offset is now left bank foward, and the cam tunnel is closed to the crankcase.
