For What It Is Worth - Those mounts will also work for putting a 429/460 in a 71-73 Mustang and correctly locating it

how well does the ignition work?

Running the exact same setup on my torino and my son's maverick. They are very reliable with plenty of tunability. Good working pieces for less than you would pay for the distributor!!!
