NHRA P/S at POMONA.
Just a question or two, if I may? Who is John Nobile's engine builder? Larry Morgan seemed to have "slipped" the tires. The NHRA site stated Morgan "rolled the light". Either way I hope there's a mistake on the run that can be avoided next lap! Is Cunningham and his cars there? And then there's Mike Edwards!
Anyone have the "inside skinny"?
Dave.

Morgan is 15th. That Mustang of his looks beautiful in those red, white and blue Lucas colors. I think I'll have to make the Houston or Dallas race this year.

Just got back, it was a great showing by both Mustangs! I'm not much of a fan of Larry's paint, Nobile's looks better IMHO. But forget the paint, those Mustangs easily outclass those econo box ugly GM POS. John outran Larry on Thursday, he had a 6.66 to Larry's 6.70, but he never improved after that. It's sure nice seeing the Fords only a couple of hundreds off instead of a couple of tenths. Their speeds are right up there except for Edwards, Anderson and Line. Looked all over for Jim and Erica, but they were nowhere to be found. I really wanted to talk to him and thank him for all he's done for us long suffering FOrd PS fans. I predict these engines will be more than competitive from what I witnessed this weekend! Might even get a couple of pics up in the next day or two.

I watched as Larry Morgan and Jeggie stagged, I though Larry is going to need some help to get around Jeggie! Low and behold, the help arrived. Morgan's interview after the first round was very professional, as Larry himself! The second round, Larry did a great job at the starting line. It was however inevitable, Larry could not advance much farther in eliminations without help from his competitor(s). However, Larry and his Mustang showed promise for future events, something we haven't seen since Hurley's effort.
On another note, did you guys notice the incremental's of the Anderson/Edwards run? Edwards must be making a "ton" of power (relative to the class)! Edwards' performance from 660' to 1320' was amazing, even compared to Anderson!
Good job Larry!

Sorry it's not an action shot - my camera is a POS and I had real grief trying to catch a car at speed. My friends had a good camera and she's making me a disc, so I'll post some action shots then.
