New guy from ND

Post  nobodyspecial on April 14th 2010, 4:16 pm

Hey everyone, my name is Josh. I was told to come check this site out, so I did. I spend most of my online time between different truck sites, mainly NWUonline.com and FordTruckFanatics.com

I just got a good deal (hopefully) on a 460 and a C6 out of a 76 Grand Marquis. Bought it sight unseen for $100. Its "supposed" to be in good shape, and for the price I couldn't pass it up. I should be going to pick it up next weekend, then I will see if I got lucky or screwed. Smile

I picked it up to replace the tired 351M and shot C6 in my 77 F250. I am looking to make a nice little hot rod truck.

I look forward to learning a bunch as this will be my first engine build.

Here is a picture of the F250:

I will get some pics when I get it picked up. Gonna be out of town this weekend, and have to get the trailer from our farm, engine is 50 miles from minot and the trailer is about 200 miles from here.

Well to the site and a $100.00 you did good if the motor is a loss you still have a lot of core parts good find. Jason

Nice looking truck, ThndrChkn! I love it!

Thats exactly what I was thinking about the motor. Even if the block is shot, there is more than $100 of individual parts there.

I actually think that the dad just wanted it out of there. It was the sons, but the dad put the ad out. Smile
