Well last year I paid $7.05 a gallon for TT 111 and now it up to $8.90 this year. F that! its time to go Alcohol. Was just wondering if Quick fuel can get my setup pretty dam close buy me telling them what I run right now using fuel? I have a very little testing time if any. Maybe getting a job out of Phoenix and will have to fly back here to race 3 race's

Ya but what's the price of Alcohol going for this season? 2.50 3.00 a gal .. that's still better then the 8.90 he's looking at now. Granted he'll have to up his pump to be compatible with the alcohol, along with all the other fitting on the fuel side.

I feel your pain. I just bought 5 gallons of 100 octane Sunoco and paid 7.00 a gal. for it. If I can figure out how to flush my system after running I may switch to methanol myself. Or I may go with 75/25.

I have never ran it but I heard from a friend that av fuel was pretty dry. He adds lube to it. Any truth to this?

Guy's

We have run AV gas 100LL for years. We run it in our circle race boats, big block's 5-8 laps 7,200 rpm, for a full season's, with out any issues at all. MANY MANY LAPS AND RPMS in our season!

Some people feel AV gas is "to dry?" It has lead in it! If you think you need to add more lead, to "Un-dry it?" go to the auto part store and add some.

Some places sell it at the pump. Other-wise little airports will sell it to you..
All airports are different, some will pump it straight into you street car, others make you bring in legal fuel cans..

out.

Alky less than 2 bucks a gallon here, and that twice as much is BS if you do it right.

If your going carb APD is the best IMO, I have run the the Quickfuel as well and I feel the APD is a better carb. If you have a dommy they can convert it for 595.00.

Just for the record: JET-A is the same as K-1 Kerosene.
AV 100 LL is decent stuff @ 3.85 gal.
