Project 300zx ....... she's back home

this was my first drag car i spent 2 years building her she went a best of 7.02 and was a death trap and i couldnt run it at an nhra track so i sold it when i moved back to florida back in 2004, nice guy Nick floated a buddy of mine the balance of the car .....well guess what i was repo man tonight ...well actually not i offered to give him back the money he gave me for it and he said no just take it ....... so a long story short will be stripping her down tommorrow , my buddy Randy has the powertrain for it so im going to supply the car and my welding skills , and the electronics to get her going again .... im excited we will try and have her ready for the memorial day race in May ...i will keep everyone updated on the progress

Back in the early days of Pro Mod, (back when solid mounted rear suspensions were allowed) there was one pretty wicked looking blown 300ZX. I think it was one of the "Wild Bunch" group out on the west coast.

well we removed all the old roll bar , fuel system pressure washed her and removed all the old soundeading , spoke to Randy at s and w race cars and ordered a 10 point , with the window net setup so we will start the welding by the next weekend .....

not back Nick my chassis kit is from them so far it fits like a glove.
