It amazing to me how tight the competition is!

And it took a whole new engine design to get compdeitive and it's only so little that they where missing before and never making the field

Yeah, just think how competetive they'd be if NHRA would let them run an actual BBF based engine, and not a Dodge with Ford emblems on the valve covers.

Three cars including double E qual with 6.685. She can sqeeze the tree and might go a few rounds, but--

She almost had it, and she definitely treed his ass.

I believe she pushed in the clutch at the end as the care nosed over. She had ol Jeggy if she hadn't got out of it. The announcers said she pushed in the clutch so she would not cross the line.

Got that right. It was clear from Jeg's in car, that he was covered. I was statring to get excited about the time Erica pushed in the clutch. Oh well, maybe next time.

I liked Roger Brogdon's interview, where he said his car owner said "don't get out of it unless it's on it's lid" IMO, ain't no race worth wreckin' your car just to get the "W". He did say though, that it wasn't his intention to end up on his lid. Just glad he wasn't hurt.

Give'em a litle time to get the engines and chassis tuned in...I read somewhere that Larry Morgan was up at Dart lately and I talked to Jack Rousch at the HotRod TradeShow and he said that Justin Humphries setup was coming along nicely but he would elaborate.

I didnt get to see any of it, qual or the race. The ##@%%$^$ directv goes off on ESPN2 whenever it rains, and it sure has rained. There was, clear as could be, a ------ golf game, nascrap, and some games it only takes one ball to play, so I turned it off.
