5.4 question

Anyone use the K&N inlet tube and air filter? Let me know if it helped the power and mileage.

k-n stuff does work, power does go up, but they advertise a increasing in mpg , is a straight lie , on every one i ever used mpg went down at least 1-2-3 mpg..(fuel injected only) what they for got to tell you is that if you increase the air flow. the computer will increase the fuel flow = more power but less mpg....

I had one on a 2000 Expedition and it worked. Don't recall if their was or wasn't a milage increase. I did notice an increase in going to full synthetic oil all the way thru the driveline, Motor, Trans, Tranfer, and Front and Rear, Probably on the line of .5-.75 MGP
