Montana road trip

Well I crossed the MT state line about 6:00PM last night. Taking a little unplanned road trip. I'm in Billings MT for an aunt's funeral, going to wander around for a little while on sat. and see if I run into anyone I know around these parts.

The first thing I thought when I read this thread was, I look Doug up for a night on the town, good brotherhood, and good food. Then I might challenge him to a fun wrestling match.

I left Doug's house about 2hrs ago and am stopping just north of Yellowstone. Had a great time with Doug and his family. He took the wife and I on a little road trip around Helena. Visited with his wife and got to meet his kids. Played fetch with the dog too. Best part was he let me sit in the drivers seat of the yellow beast. Wish we would have had more time to spend there, but had to get moving back towards home. Only 950 or so more miles to go. Going to travel through Yellowstone Nat Park tomorrow morning and keep on hauling towards home.

Glad you guys made it to the Park OK Rob... It was cool you guys took the time to swing up... The wife was exstatic that you guys were ablr to comunicate with her as well as you did... She had a great visit... I too wish you had more time, we coulda took Tonka out to that long stretch we drove through earlier, and unleashed the beast... Be safe, and thanks again...

I wanted to go north and pass through Havre MT and check out the Big Bud tractor plant, and being as I was that far north, swing up to Brooks and say hi, but the wife put the brakes on that idea. I'll have to do that next time I go up to visit Doug. Something to look forward to on the next road trip.
