Got a heat report from about 10 years back... We were in Kuwait for Southern Watch....

Didn't get below 99* at night... And average daytime temp was 130*

Got off the plane at night and it felt like walking head-first into a heat gun..

And the water tanks for the showers sat in the sun all day making for a boiling at night

Did the army send you there? There are a couple of people that are deployed in africa (windsor) and I don't understand why soldiers are there. What are they doing there? I don't get it.

I'm AF/ANG (Mass).. Southern Watch is when we were enforcing the northern/southern no-fly zones when Saddam was still in power. As far as other AOAs (areas of operation) there are many reasons.. training, humanitarian assistance, presence, show of force, etc. We have troops/assets deployed to many more areas than many people realize. Not that it's a secret, it's just not common conversation

One of them intex deals, we had a 4' x 15' for four years, had to trash it and got the 4.5' x 24' deal. Took 30 hours and our water pressure here kicks ass lol. Pumps a runnin, got the solar cover on so pool party this weekend at Fabio's house.........

You know its for real hot when the Mexican at work is bitchin' about it lol.

Jon my old 4.5 x 25 took 18000 gallons to fill it.....


on a side note we got about 2" rain this morning on the way home from work... Rained like a CPOFR man it was nice...
