Candles ??
so how do we light the candles ? is it just due to the amount of nos that these guys are using ? or ist that there tune is spot on ?

From what i heard the flames or candles are seldom constant and flicker so in one camera shot you may see them and another you don't. The white flame with the blue tips is said to be the best tune by just looking but you can't go by that either. If you look closely you will see many of them shoot some flames right at the launch and a few will be blowing them at the other end as the bottle pressure is getting lower A lot of times when the guys are really leaning on them hard is when you see the white/blue flames we love to see. Theoretically the red orange is rich, but it can be just more retard.

Here's a couple of our guys lighting it up...


There are a few things that can effect or cause the candles.. Amount of nitrous/fuel going thru the engine, cam profile, length of the exhaust, timing and so on. You can't really tune a car by the flames, but when the tunes right, the flames sure look nice !!

I think you need 2 or more systems to send the flames out the collectors.
