Nice list Jon,,,,, let me add that you need to take a spare starter and a spare battery,,,not just a battery charger. Then a spare electric water pump motor, spare radiator cap, hose clamps, Stop Leak and etc...

Spare valve springs (always!) and the tools to change valve springs there in the pits. Spare roller lifters, pushrods, rocker arms, intake manifold gaskets, convertor, transmission, 1350 U joint, and the list goes on. Murphy's Law applies here.

I have a spare starer, battery out of the truck fits the box in the car, if I have to get deeper in the motor your loading up and going home. I have replaced a band in the tranny when I ran the. c4 and it broke at a 2 day race. I have rad caps, relays solenoids for starter and tranbrake. Dont forget a drain pan or two. Intake and valve cover gaskets.

Might add I also carry a tire plugging kit, set of wheel bearings for the trailer, spare full CO2 bottla and regulator. Spark plugs for cycles and genny, fuel filter for genny. I also carry spare parts for the tow rig, but thats a whole different thread...........

A big package, as all racers must have. It really comes in handy to grab this when you yell at a chevy racer that says he can beat you and then you can tell them "yeah you can beat this!". Just sayin, comes in handy....

And a belt. For you engine... geek

No, our generation really does suck.

I hate to think about what it will be like when we get older. No one seems to respect cars anymore. I just hope we are legally allowed to keep our cars in the future, (because of emissions crap).

i take some of all that's been listed but one of the best things i'v found was my wifes idea,baby wipes.the kids always gotta be cleaned up and they work for lots of cleaning jobs.keeps the hands clean so the cape dont get dirty. Laughing
