I was at National trails this weekend and talked to Gary Varney quite a bit and he said L Morgan was at the track testing the NEW Mustang. The Pic he showed me of it was a beaut. I think Larry will probably the first one in a Fords to win, when they do get it figured out. I tell ya what, that Gary is a hell of a Racer. Him and that Thunderbird can go some rounds. he was still in the late stages of the Q32 when I left the track. Hope ya won it all Gary. Was a pleasure chatting w/you.

Rick, it was a pleasure talking with you also, glad you made the trip up, I know you must have been worn out going on no sleep. Let me know if I can help with anything. It ended up a good day, they didnt make it easy for me. In the door car final I won by .0006. In the the final, the dragster I had to run was no duck by any stretch, I had a .001 light and HE LEFT ON ME with a .000 light. As it turned out I did hold him off for the win. Let me know if you are coming back any time soon, I will try to get out and watch.

Well Cunningham made the show, but really is a sitting duck for Edwards in round 1, unless Edwards breaks.

That Allen Johnson Mopar seems to be making some steam....

Mike's stuff is crazy fast but he has a bit of a history at sucking on the tree. Maybe he'll make one of his bonehead mistakes and light the pink bulb Rolling Eyes That would be REALLY stupid as he's got about .13 in the bank.....but he's done it before. Wink

Ya know, I like Mike Edwards and all, and his set-up definitely works, but I really am tired of hearing about Mike Edwards. I was also wondering, are these Ford guys just out for #1? I know they're all competitors, but if Morgan's gettin' it figured out, why isn't he sharin' the info with the others? In rd 3 yesterday, if he had gone straight, he'd have been a bit further up in the bracket I think. That car was scootin'. As well as skatin' Shocked

I'm with you on Morgans pass, he definately took the long way getting there. Had to loose a bunch the way it looked. I still can't believe he saved the pass.

mike Edwards shop is down the road from me, during the off season he rents the track a lot to test in Tulsa, i am glad Jim Cunningham finally got in, as he said..." 20 years and millions and millions of his own $$ " he looks like Morgan may be on to something, once he gets it to hook straight

Thanks Gary, enjoyed talkin to you also. I got some work to do this week.Looked at the Fuel press.on the way to the starting line and it was dropping (6lbs) and on the way after the shift it was at 2 and never came back until shut down. We'll at least the guy at the end the track did'nt rip my ass for goin under 10 flat. Got another pump and matching reg.coming Monday. Gotta fix the shifter handle(Broke right off at knob) Shocked don't know what thats about. Check valves (might have a broken VS) and the list goes on.Gonna try KV next Friday nite.Might change intakes.
Glad you got the win ,sound like those hErO driving skills are back, you need to give me some tips on this TB/And D Box. Takes a little practice,I know that.See ya at Norwalk

Did you catch Morgan's interview after that last run? They showed his carbon fiber wheelie bars, he said they are about 15 lbs lighter.

carbon fiber wheelie bars......
Supposedly semi-retired chassis builder Don Ness is making CF wheelie bars now.

Here's the guy running the old Ness Racecraft operation now that Don is "retired", check out the pic galleries
